The 4-star campsite Parc du Charouzech is a paradise for lovers of nature and tranquility. Located on the shores of Lake Pareloup, near the village of Salles-Curan, in the department of Aveyron, the campsite offers an exceptional setting for a relaxing holiday.
Lake Pareloup is an artificial lake of 2100 hectares, created in 1946 by the construction of the Pareloup dam. It is surrounded by unspoiled natural landscapes, suitable for hiking, fishing and swimming and many other activities on the lake.
The campsite has 101 spacious and shaded pitches, as well as a varied range of accommodation, ranging from mobile home to the cottage. The campsite also offers several activities for all ages.
Our receptionists are at your disposal and are at your disposal throughout your stay to facilitate your holidays.
The campsite reception in Aveyron, a point of information and services
The reception of the Parc du Charouzech campsite is open every day from 8 am to 8 pm, continuously from Monday to Sunday. It is the privileged information point for holidaymakers wishing to discover the riches of Aveyron and enjoy the activities offered by the campsite.
Our team is at your disposal to provide you with all the information you need for your stay. It will inform you about the activities and animations offered by the campsite, on the hiking trails nearby, on the list of markets around, and on the tourist attractions of Aveyron.
You can sign up for activities offered by the campsite (pétanque tournaments, canoe, register for the nautical base…) to share with the whole family. You'll find something for all tastes and all ages. The wifi code will be sent to you on your arrival.
Camping Parc du Charouzech is located on the shores of Lake Pareloup, an ideal destination for water sports enthusiasts. Guests can enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing, paddle boarding, water skiing, etc.
The campsite welcome booklet where you can find all the detailed practical information will be sent to you a few days before your arrival by email.
Camping with no cars, or almost no cars
The Parc du Charouzech campsite chooses to limit the number of vehicles on the campsite except on Saturday (arrival and departure day of the majority of customers).
Once settled in, vehicles are parked in the second car park at the entrance of the campsite (each pitch has a dedicated space). In fact, in order to reinforce the experience of our quiet and nature campsite, the passage of cars in the alleys of the campsite is limited to have less noise, less pollution, less dust, and more safety for children. You can enjoy the exceptional environment of our campsite.
The grocery shop of the campsite in Occitanie - Parc du Charouzech
The grocery shop is open every day from 8 AM to 8 PM continuously from Monday to Sunday.
The grocery shop offers a pastry and braid deposit service, orders can be made the day before for the next day.
You can find essential goods for your daily shopping, but also local products, including from the Charouzech farm.
Bar/Restaurant with a breathtaking view of Lake Pareloup
The Bar : it’s open every day from Monday to Sunday continuously from 8:30 AM to 11:00 PM.
The bar is the central place of the campsite, best place to avoid little hungers.
While having a snack, you can enjoy a show: on the right, the swimming pool (the Charou dance, the aquagym class…),
right in front, a nice view of Lake Pareloup,
at the back, the reception and its crossroads of lucky people starting their holidays and less lucky people for whom the bell has rung.
You can go to the bar to have your breakfast, snacks (ice cream, sweets…),
but also have a drink, a cocktail, eat tapas or come and party at our dance parties.
The restaurant: it’s open every day from 12 PM to 2 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM,
except on Saturday at lunchtime and during our weekly themed party.
After returning from your getaways, you can have a meal at the Charou restaurant.
Enjoy a fresh salad for lunch, taste our excellent pizzas, or eat a panini on the go…
For the meat, you have the choice between good, better or even better!
In fact, we offer à la carte organic beef: cows raised at the Charouzech farm by Mylène…
The market gardener providing tomatoes and lettuce is located next to the campsite.
The Guinguette: is located by the water and is open every afternoon.
Between two dives in the lake or after a nap in the shade of a tree,
you can come and have a snack or have a drink at the campsite beach restaurant and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake.
The picnic area of the campsite for friendly moments on the edge of Lake Pareloup
Barbecue is essential for summer holidays! Enjoy grilling with your friends and family. A picnic area is available by the lake on the campsite beach. We have collective barbecues (grills provided) and picnic tables allowing you to grill in complete safety and share a friendly moment.
For your barbecues, you can order baskets of organic beef from the Charouzech farm, produced by Mylène. Charcoal is available at the grocery shop.
Our other services
Laundry
The laundry is available at any time during the day.
The laundry, located at the back of the main building, has two washing machines and a dryer.
The operating instructions for the machines are available in the room. The use, choice of program and payment is done online via an application.
An iron is available at the reception on request.
Sanitary facilities
The sanitary facilities are available 24 hours per day.
In the first sanitary block in the main building, you have a complete sanitary area with showers, toilets, washbasins, dishwashing basins and laundry basins installed on the top of the building. The men’s and women’s areas are separated.
Ladies’s side: there is a baby area with a bathtub and a changing table. Temperate water. Toilet paper provided.
For comfortable holidays, you can find a second wooden sanitary block, on the beach side, with showers, washbasins and toilets only. Temperate water.
